ELIZABETH TAYLOR CROSSES OVER TO THE OTHER SIDE!

"..........it would be true that we cannot fully understand this life until we catch a glimpse of what lies beyond it."  Raymond A. Moody, Jr., M.D.  (LIFE AFTER LIFE)

I wanted to take this time to share my thoughts about my childhood memory of being in the presence of Elizabeth Taylor.  When I heard the news that she had passed on, instead of feeling sad, I smiled for some reason, because all I could see in my mind were images of the time I met her backstage at The Ambassador Theater in New York City where I was appearing in my first Broadway play.

I smiled because I could immediately see her laughing and calling me, "Little Marshall Hill".   I was a very young teenager and rather small for my age when she appeared backstage to greet the cast members.  I was running down the stairs from my dressing room with several other boys that were in the play also.  I remember stopping suddenly and attempting to hide behind the other boys as I looked directly into the face and eyes of one of the biggest movie stars of our time, IN PERSON!
As she immediately greeted all of the boys by name (She was being told each boys name by the author of the play standing next to her, Kittie Frings, whose husband was her Manager.)
I was nervously hiding behind the other boys when she suddenly singled me out by name and laughed out loud. She lunged forward and laughed and called out my name. I was speechless. She had the most beautiful eyes I had ever seen in my entire young life!!! I just stared as she laughed. The warmth and compassion and beauty of both her physical appearance and her spirit was breathtaking!
So much time and space has passed for me since those few blissful moments, but to this day, I continue to hold those precious moments in my mind. I just know she is in a good and wonderful place now. She gave so much to the world, both theatrically and an abundance of humanitarian gifts!
LOVE AND LIGHT TO HER FOREVER!

Love and Light!
Marshall
